Why Lauren and Aaron from NYC chose Shadowbrook…

We are very excited to have our wedding at Shadowbrook. We initially chose to see the Shadowbrook because of the gardens, we wanted to have our ceremony outside. Shadowbrook also fell in our budget. Aaron and I met inNew York and currently live there, however it is incredibly expensive to have a wedding at venues there. So we were also looking for a place that was easily accessible for our friends and family traveling from NYC. Shadowbrook is perfect from a location standpoint for all our friends and family whether coming from NY or NJ.

Those are just the logistics though. We didn’t need to look any further after seeing Shadowbrook because we loved the whole experience from the second we reached the entrance. We love the country-side feel of the tree lined entrance and the beautiful mansion. We are fans of architecture from the Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian eras so the mansion to the decor and antiques inside just suited us so well! It gave us a different feel than the typical ballroom/banquet halls. Your staff is welcoming, attentive and really makes you feel comfortable about exploring options and making decisions about the wedding.
